PINTAYKUNA

Pintaykuna is the only Peruvian exterior paint with a photocatalytic function: using TiO₂ in its anatase phase, it breaks down 37–82% of NOx under sunlight without ever being used up. It is 100% water-based, with VOCs of 50 g/L or less, and made under the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry with zero liquid waste. Compared with conventional premium paints (Sherwin-Williams, Jotun) or imported photocatalytic paints (for interiors only), Pintaykuna is the only exterior option in Peru. It qualifies as an eco-material for EDGE certification and for Peru’s Bono Mivivienda Verde green housing bonus (S/31,100 per unit), and it lets eco-minded families act directly against pollution from their own facade.
