NMT's patented mechanochemical process converts spodumene into battery-grade Li₂CO₃ without sulfuric acid or liquid waste. Co-milling with γ-Al₂O₃ and Na₂CO₃ in continuous planetary mills at 30×g, followed by 750°C sintering, achieves ≥90% yield — versus 69% without our alumina innovation — at ~85% lower CO₂ footprint than conventional routes.
