Waste-derived carbon-negative materials using mineral–organic chemistry for scalable construction applications.
CARBOLITH™ is a waste-derived, carbon-negative construction material that transforms organic residues into durable composite blocks. It combines stabilized carbon (biochar) with mineral binders to form a mineral–organic matrix that locks carbon while reducing reliance on high-emission cement. The process operates at low energy and uses locally available feedstocks, enabling decentralized production. Unlike conventional materials, CARBOLITH™ simultaneously addresses emissions and waste by converting biomass into long-term carbon storage. Its unique value lies in combining carbon sequestration, waste valorization, and scalable material performance in a single, practical system suitable for construction and environmental applications.
