LIVANGUARD: Microalgae for Future

LIVANGUARD is a circular spirulina biorefinery. We grow our own biomass in Arequipa (60% protein, 20 times more per hectare than soy, using only 25% of the water) and process it, with zero waste, into four product lines: tablets and capsules for human nutrition; functional snacks and gummies for pets made with upcycled poultry byproducts; organic biofertilizers; and a biofuel line in development. Our edge is integration: our competitors import biomass or serve a single market. We produce locally, control full traceability, and each line’s waste feeds another, which lowers our costs.
