Our product, highly-active zinc-oxide, has large specific surface area and high surface defect concentration, providing higher activity than commercial ZnO due to more active zinc-centers in vulcanization. Surface modification improves dispersion in rubber, enabling more than 4 times lower usage. It is produced by low-temperature continuous synthesis from end-of-life materials, supporting circular and sustainable production. Using our product, tire producers will use a product that is more efficient as a curing activator, meaning that with much lower use of raw material that is toxic for the environment, they will get same vulcanization effect as with high content of commercial zinc-oxide.
