The Uganda Cleaner Production Centre (UCPC), in partnership with the African Power Initiative, is thrilled to announce the Green Chemistry Hackathon 2025! This is your platform to solve real-world industrial challenges and fuel a sustainable future.
We are looking for brilliant minds to tackle two critical problems:
- Challenge A: Develop a safe, non-toxic, and effective solvent system for biodiesel extraction.
- Challenge B: Create an innovative method to upcycle crude glycerol from biodiesel waste into a valuable product.
